Our Parish is located in the beautiful corners of North West Suffolk (Forest Heath District) and of South West Norfolk (Breckland District). There are large areas of Thetford Forest, fen countryside and the two main towns of Brandon and Mildenhall within the parish.
Fr Dick was ordained for the Diocese of East Anglia in 1990 after several years of service in the RAF including a spell at RAF Mildenhall. After a time working in parishes in our diocese, he took the opportunity to serve as a military chaplain to the British Army. He later returned to be parish priest at Wymondham for eight years. Immediately prior to this posting, Fr Dick served as chaplain at RAF Honington.

Our church in Brandon is a small brick-built church located just outside Brandon on Brandon Road heading towards the village of Weeting. As you drive North through Brandon you need to go over the River Bridge, over the Railway lines and turn immediately to your left towards Weeting. Go past the junction on your immediate left, past the corner house and we are on the left behind a low hedge. Parking, though limited, is available in front of the Church. Welcome!

Our church in Mildenhall is not in the centre of town but was placed on the Saint John’s Estate to the northeast of the town to help provide a Christian presence. To find us you need to find your way to College Heath Road. The Council Offices are situated on this road so it is well signposted. Heading North, follow the road round and turn off into the Estate on Saint John’s Close. The church, a red-brick building, is situated near the shop and community centre; there is plenty of parking available. The entrance is on the opposite side of the church from the car park.

The Presbytery for our parish priest is found off Rattlers road which stretches between London Road and Bury Road in Brandon.
We have a Parish Council. Members of the council are elected by the parish or asked to serve by the parish priest. These meetings, open to all members of the parish, and are where we make decisions about the life of the parish, major fund raising operations and consult and inform upon upcoming initiatives.
We believe in transparency and openness in all our decision-making and financial concerns. Minutes of meetings are freely available for parishioners to collect. A short summary of the main points are published with the newsletter from time to time.
